She is training a new missionary down in Gaoxiong, and I whitewashed into Zhanghua first ward, a whole 20 minute bike ride away from my last area! I still see all my ward members every week on Sundays, which is pretty fun. My new companion is Sister Lin, and she is amazing! She's funny and kind and patient, and really good at not taking no for an answer. Which is an important missionary skill.

Maybe Later was one of those people. He had been an investigator for over a year, and the whole time he'd been reading the Book of Mormon, praying, and coming to church. Despite all of this, he had a lot of doubts and concerns. I knew he would get baptized eventually, but I figured it might take another year or two. I did not expect it to be only 7 weeks after I left! I'm incredibly excited for him, and I'm so glad I got the chance to meet him and share in a part of his conversion process. I firmly believe that conversion is a quiet miracle, but one of the biggest miracles that can happen. Only God has the power to change hearts and help people reach their full potential. Through following Heavenly Father's plan for us, we truly can discover the greatest joy imaginable.

We have a great district, an awesome ward, and a really fun area. I'm so grateful that I have this chance to serve the people here in Taiwan. I love them so much, and it is a joy to be able to share with them the gospel of Jesus Christ.
